Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant. The Mara is known as one of the finest wildlife destinations in the world. Firstly, the wildebeest migration christened the “Wildlife World Cup” occurs here every year. During the spectacle, more than two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles migrate in a clockwise direction across the ecosystems of the Serengeti (Tanzania) and the Maasai Mara (Kenya). This migration is one of the seven new wonders of the world!

Secondly, you have an excellent chance of seeing the “Big Five”, as well as cheetah,  hyena, bat-eared fox, black-backed and side-striped jackals, hippo, crocodile, baboon, warthog, topi, eland, Thompson’s gazelle, Grant’s gazelle, impala, water buck, oribi, reed-buck, and zebra.
